The agreement marks a pivotal moment for both organizations. Impact Wind LLC, since its transition to new ownership in 2022, has seen remarkable growth, expanding from six to seventy-two employees. This expansion reflects our dedication to setting the highest standards in operational excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility. Mesalands Community College brings to this agreement a unique wind turbine training facility, New Mexico’s only active teaching turbine, offering an unparalleled hands-on learning experience and establishing Mesalands as a leader in GWO certification training.

Our collaboration is designed to equip students with exclusive access to GWO certifications, alongside advanced degrees and certificates in Wind and Renewable Energy. We are excited to welcome our inaugural class of twenty-four students, a significant step towards nurturing the next generation of renewable energy professionals.
