Tucumcari, NM – January 29, 2024 – Mesalands Community College is proud to announce the participation of three esteemed professors, Axel Hungerbuehler, Andy Swapp, and Gregg Howard, at the recent annual TRIO career/college fair held on Saturday, January 27th, at the Eastern New Mexico University Campus Union Building

The event provided a unique platform for career professionals to engage with students, share insights, and explore opportunities. Professors Hungerbuehler, Swapp, and Howard took full advantage of this occasion, showcasing the educational prowess of Mesalands Community College.

Mesalands professors actively participated by setting up an engaging booth, providing students with valuable information about the college’s programs, courses, and career pathways that Mesalands Community College offers. Professor Andy Swapp brought a small turbine to the event, captivating the audience with a hands-on demonstration. Meanwhile, Professor Axel Hungerbuehler displayed a striking trex rex resin skull, showcasing Mesalands’ commitment to hands-on and innovative learning experiences. 

The professors engaged in meaningful conversations with students, answered questions, and offered guidance on various academic and career-related matters.
