The College National Finals Rodeo is to be held in Casper, Wyoming the week of June 13th. Mesalands Community College will send four students who qualified in five events: Blake Ahfdal, Dylan Hill, Hiyo Yazzie and Preston Ogle.

The finals are based on cumulative points earned throughout the season. Hiyo Yazzie qualified winning year-end in the tie-down event with 768 points. He also qualified second in the Nation for Steer Wrestling. Blake Ahfdal and Dylan Hill qualified for team roping, they both placed fourth in the region. Preston Ogle qualified in Bronc Riding, he finished second in the region. Alum Vinell Mariano qualified winning the year-end in bull riding with New Mexico State university.
