First-Time Freshmen Students

A first-time freshman is a student who has never attended a college or a university and is now attending college for the first time. Dual enrollment students who have taken college courses prior to graduation are still considered first-time freshmen students.

Mesalands Community College adheres to an open admissions policy; admitting any student to the College who is a high school graduate, high school equivalency (HSE) recipient, or who has otherwise demonstrated the ability to benefit as demonstrated by the Success Assessment/Placement Test.
