Rodeo Scholarships

Meagan McCain Memorial Endowed Rodeo Scholarship

The Meagan McCain Memorial Endowed Rodeo Scholarship is for female rodeo students. Meagan was an outstanding student and competitor who epitomized what the Mesalands Community College Rodeo Program strives for in their student athletes. This scholarship was established to build and maintain the integrity of the Mesalands Community College Rodeo Team.

Mesalands Rodeo Scholarship

The Mesalands Rodeo Scholarship was established for full-time (15 credits) Mesalands Community College students with previous rodeo experience and a 3.0 GPA. There is a preference for freshman students.

Rodeo Non-Resident Grant

The Rodeo Non-Resident Grant was established for Rodeo students residing outside of New Mexico. The award is calculated to make up the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition.

Stampede Rodeo Scholarship

The Rodeo Talent Grant was created for students who are members of the Mesalands Community College Rodeo Team. Recipients of the grant must have a FAFSA on file in the Financial Aid Office, have previous experience in rodeo events, enroll in a minimum of 15 credit hours, successfully complete 12 academic credit hours, and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
