Mesalands Golfer Places 6th in Phoenix Tournament While Another Ranks 11th in the Nation

Over the weekend, Mesalands Community College golf team competed in the Foothills Golf Club tournament (NCCGA) located in Phoenix, Arizona. The tournament was cut short due to weather, but that didn’t stop Mario Cordova from placing sixth shooting 75.

Meanwhile, Tanner Croom is now ranked eleventh in the nation. He shot 79 at this tournament (Phoenix) with an 8 on one hole. Earlier in the week Tanner Croom placed fourth in the first tournament of the season at the Cottonwood Creek Golf course in Waco, Texas. He shot 74/74.
