Mesalands Community College’s Fitness Center and Building A are closed. The morning of July 6 the College was notified a member of the Fitness Center had tested positive for COVID-19. The last time the member had accessed the facility was on July 2, 2020. The College ensured its fitness facility was closed immediately following notification. It will remain closed until further notice. The attached building (A) will be disinfected tomorrow (July 7) to ensure the safety of all employees.

The building has and will remain closed in accordance with CDC guidelines and the NMDOH. Building A will remained closed to everyone except those disinfecting the building.

This is being done for the safety and well being of all employees. Again, the building is being cleaned to meet the guidelines of the CDC and NMDOH in accordance with the ordinances put in place by the Governor of New Mexico.
