CE 403 STRONG SENIORS STAY YOUNG
No group in our society can benefit more from regularly performed exercise than middle-aged and older adults. Scientific research has demonstrated that exercise with weights can increase strength, muscle mass and bone density while reducing the risk of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, arthritis, depression and the risk of falling. In this class, seniors will participate in safe and progressive 8-15 week strength training program with the goal of improving their health and ability to remain physically independent.

CE 404 STRONG SENIORS CHAIR YOGA
Chair Yoga is a gentle form of Yoga that offers you the ability to improve your health through a form of adaptive exercise practiced while sitting in a chair or standing while using a chair for support. Various Yoga poses are modified in order to improve strength, balance, flexibility as well as mental fitness. In this class, seniors will participate in safe and progressive 8-15 week training program with the goal of improving their health and ability to remain physically independent.
