Mesalands Community College invites students, staff, and area residents to celebrate Constitution Day this Thursday, September 10th 2026. We are welcoming New Mexico Lieutenant Governor Howie Morales, who will be our guest speaker.

The event will take place on our campus located here in Tucumcari, NM, in the Great Room at 11:45 AM. There will be a complimentary lunch, so make sure to show up early to secure your meal and pick the best seat for the Lt. Governor’s speech.

As the second-highest-ranking government official in New Mexico. Lt. Governor Morales’ visit is a great opportunity for our community to host and meet a state leader whose work directly impacts our communities. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and come celebrate Constitution Day with us!
