Rawhide day flyer

Rawhide is a popular TV classic that first aired in 1959, starring a young Clint Eastwood in his first major acting gig. The show went on to be wildly successful, running for more than 6 years and spanning 8 seasons. Several episodes were filmed in and around Tucumcari, making it an iconic part of the town's history. The annual Tucumcari Rawhide Days is a celebration of the filming of this western classic in our area and a celebration of the Old West. For this year's Rawhide days, which will be June 19 -21, the dinosaur museum will offer free admission for all on Saturday, June 20th! Come get a glimpse at prehistoric life as the wild west meets the wild Mesozoic Era. We are proud to take part in this commemoration of the Old West and of Tucumcari's Hollywood legacy.
