Leading the charge for the Mesalands team is Trace Fulwiler, who secured his spot in the finals with a dominant season. Fulwiler was crowned the Grand Canyon Region Champion in bareback riding, finishing with 927 points, placing him significantly ahead of the second-place finisher, Tom Isaiah, who ended with 536. Joining Fulwiler at the national level is Ryder McChesney, who qualified for the finals in saddlebronc riding. McChesney’s hard work and steady results throughout the year secured his position among the region's top Rodeo athletes, further solidifying the college’s reputation for producing elite competitors.
"I am proud of my boys!" said Coach Segerman, who is making good on his promise to build a team that wins.
