September 13, 2022- Mesalands Community College makes history with its first ever NJCAA Cross Country meet! Emmanuel Hernandez, Mesalands’ first NJCAA Cross Country athlete, competed in The New Mexico State University – Lori Fitzgerald Open (5k) on Saturday morning, September 3rd, at the New Mexico State University Golf Course. The schools in attendance were New Mexico State University, University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso Community College, and Mesalands Community College. Emmanuel Hernandez, a Tucumcari local, has been training in preparation for this season and is under the guidance of coach Allen Moss.
