April 4, 2023 – On Wednesday, March 29th, Mesalands Community College signed an articulation agreement with Menlo College to provide a seamless transfer pathway for students pursuing a 4-year degree. Menlo will accept Mesalands students with associates of arts and associates of applied science degrees pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business. 

Interim President Allen Moss met with Menlo College representatives through Zoom and spoke candidly about the respective schools. Situated in California’s Silicon Valley, Menlo College hosts a diverse student body and has been home to New Mexican transplants in the past. With the agreements’ 2+2 plan, Mesalands Community College students will finish their associate’s and then spend 2 years at Menlo to complete their bachelor’s degree. 

Mesalands students interested in attending will have many benefits at Menlo College. As part of the agreement, they will be awarded a $20,000 scholarship per year. Students can also take summer classes at a 50% tuition discount, and have the opportunity to live in on-campus housing.
