Kathy Ulibarri and Tyler Dillman were awarded the Presidential Medal of Excellence by Dr. Gregg Busch for their contributions to educational development at our Mesalands Convocation. Our faculty and staff convocation is a gathering before the start of each semester focused on rededication of the college’s academic mission. We focus on student success, access, and the prudent use of resources. As part of our commitment to continual improvement in these areas, we joined the Collaborative for Higher Education Shared Services (CHESS), and EAB.
CHESS is a collective of six higher education institutions in New Mexico that share networks of information and platforms to streamline processes and improve student services. The CEO, Kathy Ulibarri, held a presentation to show how CHESS will benefit the future of Mesalands College. EAB is an educational partner dedicated to helping Higher Ed facilities through data collection and research for success and retention. Tyler Dillman, a Strategic Leader from EAB, showcased the tools and applications that will enable Mesalands College to increase enrollment and continue running our programs to the highest standard.
*The Presidential Medal of Excellence is an exclusive award given to exceptional leaders that help Mesalands College Lead The Way in innovation and advancement on state and national levels.*
