Mesalands Community College was proud to partner with Brenda Bishop, Coordinator of the Quay County Health Council, as a sponsor of the Quay County On the Move 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, October 1. Members of Quay County and Mesalands Community College were excited to get out and move. The route began and ended at Kvols Park between fifth and sixth street on Hines.

Milan Rasic, MCC Athletic Director helped coordinate the event with assistance from Dr. Hazel Rountree, Vice President for Student Success and Access, Inclusion and Equity, and Institutional Effectiveness and Professor Mary Beth Busch, Acting Professor of Communication Studies. President Busch began the race with a resounding “Get ready, get set, go!”

The event was also held virtually, for the first time.
