Community Vaccine Event to be Held at Mesalands Community College

May 28, 2021 – Mesalands Community College is committed to a healthy workforce, to its employees, students, and the community of Tucumcari and beyond. Thursday June 3, 2021 Mesalands Community College will host a Community Vaccine Event in partnership with Quay County Public Health Office. The event will be held in the “Great Room” in Building A 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. The one-shot Johnson and Johnson Vaccine will be administered by appointment. Registration is required by reserving your vaccination online at vaccinenm.org. The event is open to employees, students, and members of the community

Mesalands Community College continues to Lead The Way in the health and safety of the community. Students attending Mesalands Community College who show proof of vaccination to Student Affairs will be eligible for a $25 Gift Card to its Campus Book Store and two free tickets to the Dinosaur Museum. Employees who show proof of vaccination to Human Resources will be eligible for an additional day of vacation. In addition, those who are vaccinated will no longer be required to check-in or wear masks on campus.

If this event hosted by Mesalands Community College is an inconvenient time, the Quay County Public Health Office will be administering the Johnson and Johnson vaccine on Wednesday, June 2, and Wednesday, June 9, from 9:00am to 12:00pm (on each day) at the Tucumcari Convention Center. Prior registration is required online at www.vaccinenm.org.
