2. Take the placement exam.
Complete the placement exam at the Educational Services Center at Mesalands Community College. The College provides the placement exam at no cost to first-time dual students.
Exam results must be submitted to the student’s high school counselor. Students must meet all prerequisites for each course and placement exam cut scores for Common Core courses.
Applied science course eligibility is determined by the student’s high school counselor.
3. Complete the Dual Credit Request Form.
Once eligibility is determined, a Dual Credit Request Form will be provided by the high school for enrollment at Mesalands Community College.
Signatures from the high school representative, the parent (if the student is under the age of 18), and the student are required for the Dual Credit Request Form.
This form is then forwarded to Mesalands Community College and the student will be enrolled for that semester.
