At Mesalands Community College’s Imagination Runs Wild Camp, every day is a brand-new adventure bursting with creativity, curiosity, and nonstop fun. Campers might become time-traveling explorers, jungle adventurers, alien scientists, or underwater treasure hunters—all before the end of the day!
Through themed games, wild crafts, silly challenges, storytelling, and hands-on activities, kids will stretch their minds, move their bodies, and let their imaginations soar. One day it’s building cardboard castles, the next it’s inventing new creatures or solving magical mysteries!

In Imagination in Motion, kids don’t just exercise-hey go on epic adventures! One day we’re capturing the flag in the Bamboo Forest or racing through the Wild West on invisible horses. We might find ourselves in a relay race across the Lava Fields, play balloon volleyball in the Sky Kingdom, or dive into a crazy hoops challenge in the Land of Giggle Hoops.
Even classic games get an imaginative twist-like a space-age game of tag with an “Among Us” flair, where crewmates and impostors race against time and each other. Every activity blends physical movement with creativity, turning running, jumping, stretching, and balancing into magical missions and heroic quests.
It’s fitness for the body and fuel for the imagination-because when kids move their bodies, their minds take flight!
SAC – 230 Stop the Bleed! Basic First Aid for Kids

Stop the bleed is a nationally accredited course teaching how to manage and stop life threatening bleeding. This class will also feature first aid measures and teach participants how to treat injuries such as bites, stings and environmental exposure conditions. (Some wounds and blood will look real)

Prepare to be a lifesaver in critical moments with our immersive 4-day summer adventure camp class, Start a Heart, Stop the Bleed. Designed for teens and adults, this hands-on course equips participants with essential first aid skills to respond effectively to traumatic injuries.
What You’ll Learn: Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR: Master adult, child, and infant CPR techniques, including the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), to respond confidently in cardiac emergencies. Stop the Bleed Techniques: Gain proficiency in controlling life-threatening bleeding through direct pressure application, wound packing, and proper tourniquet use. Stop the Bleed. Emergency Response Skills: Develop the ability to assess emergency situations, prioritize actions, and provide immediate care until professional help arrives.
Certifications Earned: BLS CPR Certification: Recognized nationally, this certification validates your competence in performing CPR and using AEDs, adhering to American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Stop the Bleed Certification: Endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense and administered by the American College of Surgeons, this certification confirms your ability to manage severe bleeding emergencies.
