National Museum Day

The Mesalands Community College’s Dinosaur Museum and Natural Sciences Laboratory will open its doors free of charge for Museum Day on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. This event reflects Smithsonian’s vision in “shaping the future by preserving our heritage, discovering new knowledge, and sharing our resources with the world.”

Museum Day tickets will be available to download starting on August 15, 2019 at Smithsonian.com/museumday. Visitors who present tickets at the Mesalands Dinosaur Museum will gain free entrance for two people on Saturday, September 21. One ticket is permitted per household, per email address.
