Tribal Scholarships
Mesalands Community College works directly with Tribal Agencies across the United States to verify student information and determine eligibility for tribal funding. Upon approval, funding is sent to Mesalands and processed through the financial aid office and business office.
The following are a few of the Tribal Agencies that we work with currently or have worked with in the past:
- Office of Navajo Nation Scholarship & Financial Assistance (ONNSFA)
- Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians
- Eastern Shoshone Education
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure their respective Tribal Agency receives all required documentation to determine eligibility.
Private Scholarships
Mesalands students often receive private or external scholarships from public and private organizations not affiliated with the college. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the respective organization receives all required documentation to finalize scholarship award. Scholarship funds will not be disbursed until official payment of the scholarship has been received by the Mesalands Financial Aid office and Business Office.
