Checklist for Dual-Enrollment Students

 Complete the Dual Enrollment Application

This application will ask you to provide the information we need to get you into our system, laying the ground work to getting you on your way.

Dual Enrollment Application

 Take the placement exam.

If you are in the Tucumcari area, contact the Educational Services center to complete the placement exam. The College provides the placement exam at no cost to first-time dual students.

Exam results will be submitted to the student’s high school counselor.

This exam will ensure you meet all minimum scores for Common Core courses and evaluate the need for prerequisite courses.

Applied science course eligibility is determined by the student’s high school representative.

Sign the Dual Credit Request Form.

Once eligibility is determined, a Dual Credit Request Form will be completed by your high school representative and sent to Mesalands Community College. Signatures from the high school representative, the parent (if the student is under the age of 18), and the student are required on the Dual Credit Request Form.
