Customized training is available to meet industry demands. Programs can be designed for specific needs of wind technology firms. Training can range from three days to eight weeks depending on the complexity of the topics to be covered. Contact the College for specific information. Below is an artists rendition based upon the actual architectural drawings of North American Wind Research and Training Center. The center will be approximately 30,000 square feet and will be used for training wind energy technicians to help fill this critical workforce shortage. The General Electric 1.5 Megawatt turbine was installed in the Winter of 2008 and construction on these facilities will begin in the Fall of 2009. |
