Mesalands offers community education classes focused on healthy living

The Spring 2017 Community Education classes at Mesalands Community College will take place throughout the month of April. Classes this semester will provide community members with beneficial information and different techniques, to living a healthier lifestyle.

Below is a list of the Spring Community Education classes:

CE 275: Herbs and Natural Health Care
April 18 and 25, 6-9 pm – $30
Location: Room A122
Learn the properties of herbs that can aid in diet and nutrition, energy, and in health and wellness.

CE 276: Natural Weight Loss and Management
April 13, 6-9 pm – $20
Location: Room A122
Develop healthy solutions to losing weight with specific herbs, dietary ideas, and health changes.

CE 277: Coping with Stress and Grief
April 11, 6-9 pm – $20
Location: Room A122
Overcome stress, anxiety, and grief, with the use of nutrition, herbs, and other natural methods.

CE 278: Cooking Made Easy on a Budget
April 27 and 28, 6-9 pm – $30
Location: Tucumcari High School Culinary Arts Room
Take a one-night meal and turn leftovers into a five-day menu of dinners. A grocery list will be provided for students to purchase supplies, prior to the start of class.

CE 279: Wood Flower Arranging 101
April 24 and 25, 6-8 pm – $35
Location: C313
Create beautiful wooden flower arrangements in various forms and colors. Supplies will be provided.
