Non-Degree Seeking Students

New students who have never attended Mesalands Community College  and who wish to take courses on a non-degree basis, should follow the steps below. Please note that non-degree students are not eligible for Federal Financial Aid or most other financial aid and/or scholarships.

1. Submit an Application for Admission via one of the following methods:

  • Print an application and mail the completed application to Mesalands Community College
  • Submit an application¬†online
  • Visit the Student Affairs Office in Building A and complete an application
  • Call (575) 461-4413 ext. 153 to request an application by mail

2. Register for classes:

  • Online
  • Or by calling (575) 461-4413, ext. 153

3. How to Process Tuition Payments

  • Bills may be picked up at the Business Office after registration
  • Check in with the Business Office to process tuition payments either by cash,¬†check or credit card
  • Payment must be received prior to the beginning of the semester
  • Call the Business Office at (575) 461-4413, ext. 110 to make arrangements for deferred payments
