CIS 155 Introduction to Photoshop

Ideal for working with your personal and business photos, this course is an introduction to Photoshop 7. This course will help you familiarize yourself with the toolbox, the main menu, and the palettes. The fun begins as you apply the tools and Photoshop’s features to manipulate images and create new artwork. Instructional emphasis is placed on practical application.

Your instructor, and the creator of this lesson plan is John Yearout. John has been a Photoshop user since version 3, and before that was a user of the old Aldus PhotoStyler program. He has used the program for fun and professionally as a photographer, publisher of a newspaper and an agricultural magazine and most recently as Director of Public Relations at Mesalands Community College.

A Resource CD is provided to CIS 155 Intro. to Photoshop students. It contains images, fonts and an easy to follow, well illustrated instructional manual in pdf form.
