Obtain a Petition to Graduate form from the Office of
Enrollment Management or click:

Obtain an unofficial advisement copy of
your transcript from the Office of Enrollment Management. |

| 3. |
Complete the first blocked-off section of
the Petition to Graduate form. |
| |
|
| 4. |
Take both the transcript and the Petition
form, together with a copy of a degree plan for your major, to
your assigned faculty advisor. |

| 5. |
Your advisor will review your transcript
against the requirements on the degree plan and, if all course
and GPA requirements have been met, will sign-off on the form.
If any exceptions or substitutions have been arranged, your
advisor will so note them on the degree plan and initial each or
attach a form or memo stating what substitutions are authorized. |

Take the completed degree plan, together
with your Petition form and transcript, along with any
attachments, to the chairperson of the department from which you
will graduate. |

| 7. |
The department chairperson will review
the packet and confirm or deny any exceptions, which have been
made by the faculty advisor. The chairperson will initial any
changes and sign at the appropriate place to indicate
confirmation. |

| 8. |
Take your packet to the cashier with the
required graduation fee. The cashier will verify that you have
no outstanding debts to the College and that your graduation fee
has been paid. |

| 9. |
Finally, take the form to the Office of
Enrollment Management. The form will ultimately be given to the
Coordinator of Institutional and Enrollment Data for action. |

10. |
The Coordinator of Institutional and
Enrollment Data will conduct a final audit of the packet. If any
problems are identified, you will be contacted regarding any
deficiencies. |

11. |
At the end of the term, the Petition will
be double-checked (all grades, courses, and GPA requirements)
and, if satisfied, a certificate will be issued. |

Note: Candidates for graduation
should petition prior to the deadline as published in the institutional
calendar. There is no guarantee that petitions received after this date
will be processed for the current semester. If the late petition is
accepted, a late fee will apply. |
