Changes to Enrollment
|
1. |
You may drop or add classes to your
schedule through the end of the second week of class.
Dropping a class means that it will not appear on your
permanent transcript record. Regular semester
classes may be dropped up until the end of the second week
of class. A withdrawal takes place after the second week of
class up through the deadline to withdraw as published in
the College calendar. When a student withdraws from a class,
the class remains on the student’s transcript with an
official grade of “W.” |

A drop/add fee is charged for processing any course schedule changes.
Also, if a course is dropped on or after the day the course begins, you
will be eligible for a partial refund or no refund, in accordance with
the College calendar. In addition, some
programs and courses require a non-refundable deposit in order to
enroll. This deposit is not refunded regardless of the time the course(s)
are dropped. |

● |
The preferred method is to stop by
the Student Services office in Building A and complete a
Course Schedule Change Form. This form should be signed by
your advisor, the instructor(s) whose class(es) you are
dropping, adding or withdrawing from and the financial aid
office.
Next, take the form to the cashier to pay the drop/add fee
and any other appropriate tuition and/or course fees. Finally,
return the form to Student Services to have your schedule
change finalized, |
| |
or
|
|
● |
If it is impractical
for you to come to the College to make a schedule change,
call (575) 461-4413, ext. 100 to complete the process by
phone. However, the drop/add fee and any other applicable
charges must be paid before the change will be finalized.
This can be done by credit card over the phone. |
